I am still so envious that you did cold process soaps. I've always been tempted but seems like a lot of work/mess. Honestly I think cleanup is my least favorite part of DYI.

yes i agree clean up is a b*TY

but the work/mess is no worse than when you make lotions or scrubs or foundation

you essentially have 6 things to wash up with after:

1 pot where the soap sits
1 stick blender
1 thermometer (if you even choose to measure)
1 digital scale (which I just wipe clean)
1 lye juge
1 pot (the bottom of your faux double boiler)

that's essentially it. your 'moulds' you can just chuck away afterwards if you cheat like me and use a drink container.

I've spotted two empty ones in the recycle pile this morning, and hubby's away from home again tonight.................
